Category | Powertank Water Boosting

Requirements
A nightclub in Gloucestershire, located on a boat, needed a reliable water boosting system to improve water pressure and flow during peak use. Low pressure is a common issue for boat-based venues. However, this site also had limited space onboard, which made the project more challenging. The customer needed enough stored water to support busy periods, but the boat did not have room for a large tank.
As a result, the solution needed to provide strong water pressure while keeping the main storage tank off the vessel.
The Solution
We selected a Powerboost combination unit with a 2,000 litre tank and a twin Flow V booster set. The unit was installed next to the boat on the harbourside, which solved the lack of space onboard. The tank provides stored water and housing for the pump set. In addition, the enclosure protects the equipment from rain, wind and frost.
The WRAS-approved tank is split into two sections and supports a reliable onboard water supply. Therefore, the nightclub now has consistent pressure and flow for its facilities.

The result
The floating nightclub now has a dependable water boosting system without losing valuable onboard space. The harbourside installation gives the venue the stored water it needs during peak use. It also delivers steady pressure and flow to the onboard water supply system.
