Viqua UV Systems Are Now WRAS Approved

We are pleased to announce that our core range of Viqua UV systems now has WRAS approval. This means customers can now choose a compliant UV water treatment option for many different sites. Viqua UV systems use ultraviolet light to treat water. First, water passes through the stainless steel chamber. Then, the UV lamp helps deactivate bacteria and other microorganisms. As a result, the system treats water without adding chemicals or changing the taste.

Each model includes an electronic display, a day counter, and audible and visual alarms. In addition, monitored versions include a UV intensity sensor and volt-free contact. If a lamp fails or a fault occurs, this contact can activate a solenoid valve and shut down the water supply.

Compact and Reliable UV Water Treatment

Viqua designs its systems with a compact lamp and chamber layout. Therefore, the units take up less space than many standard ultraviolet systems. This makes installation easier in plant rooms, pump houses, and other tight spaces.

The 304 stainless steel chambers also help improve strength and durability. Because of this, the systems suit long-term water treatment use.

Please call or email our water treatment specialist, Jason Humphries to discuss our range of Viqua UV products. The WRAS-approved Viqua UV systems come in several sizes to suit different flow requirements.
